Biography
Athebustop is a solo project by the Italian singer/songwriter Claudio Donzelli. After playing for many years with Mondayontv (1998-2005), Claudio decided to start this solo project in order to find a new outlet for a creative burst of introspective songwriting. In 2006 he successfully participated in important contests like the Heineken Jammin Festival (more than 2000 participants), the Neapolis Festival (more than 200 participants), and the Trofeo Bar Wolf (more than 30 participants), which allowed him to play in more important venues. At the end of 2006, Claudio met Matteo Gamberini (a singer/songwriter known as August in Fall) and hit the road with him during the "All by Myself" tour, a series of shows around Italy and Europe (Sweden, Luxembourg), where both artists presented their own projects and shared the stage for newly arranged covers. Currently, Athebustop is working on his debut album.
